Rainbow's Scrip Program

Sign up your School, Day Care, or PTSA and we'll donate 10%!

Rainbow Grocery has been contributing to local schools, child care centers, and educational outlets for years. As part of our continued support, Rainbow provides a Scrip program. We donate 10% of purchases made by supporters directly to authorized organizations of their choice. Our Scrip program is open to any tax-exempt day care center, nursery, and K-12 schools.

What’s changed?
With the integration of our new register system, Rainbow has modernized the way customers participate in our Scrip program. Customers will no longer need to purchase cards from their Scrip Organizer or deal with complicated reloading transactions at the register. It is as simple as logging into a Customer account.

Activate a Customer account
You can create a Customer account at our Customer Service kiosk, any register, or by filling out the form below. This will require some personal information, such as a name and phone number. At that time, you will also be able to link one of our Scrip recipients to your account. Once complete, the account will be immediately active.

Applying Scrip to Purchase
When checking out or speaking with Customer Service, you will be able to log into your Customer account. After the transaction is complete, the total amount of your purchase will be added to a running accrual for your chosen organization, calculated monthly.

How does                       get my donation?
At the end of quarter, our bookkeepers calculate 10% of the total purchases spent under every organization, then Rainbow donates that amount to each group.

What if my school, daycare, or PTSA isn’t listed?
To enroll an organization into our program, have your designated Scrip Organizer contact one of our Scrip Coordinators about adding the new program to our list. Once that process has completed, everyone will be able to link their Customer account to that school or program.
