Rewards Community

For the purposes of these Terms and Conditions (collectively, “Terms”), “Rainbow Grocery” refers to Rainbow Grocery Cooperative Inc. Rainbow Grocery’s Rewards Community (“Community”) is a free-to-join point-based promotional system that allows for e-coupons, services, programs, promotions, and/or other offers, deals, coupons, and/or specials (collectively, “Offerings”). The program also includes the accrual of a loyalty value, collectively known as “Points.” Customers must sign up for a Rewards Community account to be eligible for any available Offerings. By creating a Rewards Community account, a customer agrees to Rainbow Grocery’s Privacy Policy.

“GreenBacks” refers to a monthly scheduled promotion that allows for Points to be exchanged for an e-Coupon of specified value based on a customer’s Community account balance at the end of the Earning Period. “Earning Period” refers to a one-month term, scheduled out to twelve (12) per year. “Award Date” refers to the date a customer’s Points will be automatically exchanged, and the corresponding Greenbacks e-Coupon will be added to the customer’s Community account. Earning Periods and Award Dates are scheduled as follows:

Customers will accrue one (1) Point for each dollar spent, before taxes and after discounts. At the end of each Earning period, the Points will automatically be exchanged for a GreenBacks e-Coupon. Points are converted to GreenBacks e-Coupon in increments of 500. Any remaining Ponts under 500 will roll over to the next Earning Period. Your GreenBacks e-Coupon will be automatically added to your account on the Award Date specified.

Points will be exchanged for GreenBacks e-Coupons as follows:

If a customer has previously agreed to receive marketing materials from Rainbow Grocery, they will be notified via their email that a GreenBacks e-Coupon has been created. This GreenBacks e-Coupon is redeemable for the next calendar month. Customers can decide when they will use the GreenBacks e-Coupon within the allotted month. An unused e-coupon will expire at the end of the awarded month. The total purchase must be equal to or greater than the minimum purchase requirement before sales tax for the e-Coupon to be applies. A GreenBacks e-Coupon is non-transferable.

GreenBacks e-Coupons valid for in-store purchases only. GreenBacks e-Coupon cannot be used online or by third-party shoppers, including but not limited to Instacart. A GreenBacks e-Coupon must be used in one visit and excludes sales tax, gift cards, bags, or products prohibited by law. Eligible item total, after any applicable discounts and before taxes, must be greater than or equal to GreenBacks e-Coupon amount. No cash back. Void if reproduced or transferred.

Points are not legal tender and have no cash value.

Rainbow Grocery reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time without notice to you. The date of the most recent version of these Terms is noted at the top. Any modification will be effective upon posting of the updated Terms, and your access to and/or use of any of the Sites thereafter will constitute your acceptance of such modified Terms. Please note the date these Terms were last modified and review these Terms on a regular basis.
