Please note the following:

All Every Day Discounts (Senior, NoBAWC, Helping Hands, EBT) are no longer attached to Rewards Community accounts, so please be sure to let the cashier know which discounts you receive before paying and be prepared to show identification.
All Scrip accounts are automatically enrolled in the Rewards Community, so there is no need to sign up.

Rainbow Grocery’s Rewards Community

For the purposes of these Terms and Conditions (collectively, “Terms”), “Rainbow Grocery” refers to Rainbow Grocery Cooperative Inc. Rainbow Grocery’s Rewards Community (“Community”) is a free-to-join point-based promotional system that allows for e-coupons, services, programs, promotions, and/or other offers, deals, coupons, and/or specials (collectively, “Offerings”). The program also includes the accrual of a loyalty value, collectively known as “Points.” Customers must sign up for a Community account to be eligible for any available Offerings. By creating a Community account, a customer agrees to Rainbow Grocery’s Privacy Policy.

Employees of Rainbow Grocery are not eligible to create a Community account or participate in any promotions related to the program. Purchases through Instacart or other third-party shoppers are not eligible to receive Points or any other Offerings.

Signing Up

You can sign up in the store at the Customer Service kiosk. Your account will become active within a few minutes of completing the form.

Alternatively, you can sign up online, using this form. It will take 7-10 business days before your account will become active.

Canceling Your Account

If, for any reason, you would like to close your Community account, please use this form, select the subject “Rewards Community,” and provide your full name, email address, and phone number. You will be notified within 3-5 business days that your account has been closed.

For the purposes of these Terms and Conditions (collectively, “Terms”), “Rainbow Grocery” refers to Rainbow Grocery Cooperative Inc. Rainbow Grocery’s Rewards Community (“Community”) is a free-to-join point-based promotional system that allows for e-coupons, services, programs, promotions, and/or other offers, deals, coupons, and/or specials (collectively, “Offerings”). The program also includes the accrual of a loyalty value, collectively known as “Points.” Customers must sign up for a Rewards Community account to be eligible for any available Offerings. By creating a Rewards Community account, a customer agrees to Rainbow Grocery’s Privacy Policy.

“GreenBacks” refers to a monthly scheduled promotion that allows for Points to be exchanged for an e-Coupon of specified value based on a customer’s Community account balance at the end of the Earning Period. “Earning Period” refers to a one-month term, scheduled out to twelve (12) per year. “Award Date” refers to the date a customer’s Points will be automatically exchanged, and the corresponding Greenbacks e-Coupon will be added to the customer’s Community account. Earning Periods and Award Dates are scheduled as follows:

Earning Period: January 1st through January 31st
Award Date: February 1st

Earning Period: February 1st through February 28th
Award Date: March 1st

Earning Period: March 1st through March 31st
Award Date: April 1st

Earning Period: April 1st through April 30th
Award Date: May 1st

Earning Period: May 1st through May 31st
Award Date: June 1st

Earning Period: June 1st through June 30th
Award Date: July 1st

Earning Period: July 1st through July 31st
Award Date: August 1st

Earning Period: August 1st through August 31st
Award Date: September 1st

Earning Period: September 1st through September 30th
Award Date: October 1st

Earning Period: October 1st through October 31st
Award Date: November 1st

Earning Period: November 1st through November 30th
Award Date: December 1st

Earning Period: December 1st through December 31st
Award Date: January 1st

Customers will accrue one (1) Point for each dollar spent, before taxes and after discounts. At the end of each Earning period, the Points will automatically be exchanged for a GreenBacks e-Coupon. Points are converted to GreenBacks e-Coupon in increments of 500. Any remaining Ponts under 500 will roll over to the next Earning Period. Your GreenBacks e-Coupon will be automatically added to your account on the Award Date specified.

Points will be exchanged for GreenBacks e-Coupons as follows:

500 Points	$5 off $10 or more e-Coupon
1,000 Points	$10 off $20 or more e-Coupon
1,500 Points	$15 off $30 or more e-Coupon
2,000 Points	$20 off $40 or more e-Coupon
2,500 Points	$25 off $50 or more e-Coupon
3,000 Points	$30 off $60 or more e-Coupon

If a customer has previously agreed to receive marketing materials from Rainbow Grocery, they will be notified via their email that a GreenBacks e-Coupon has been created. This GreenBacks e-Coupon is redeemable for the next calendar month. Customers can decide when they will use the GreenBacks e-Coupon within the allotted month. An unused e-coupon will expire at the end of the awarded month. The total purchase must be equal to or greater than the minimum purchase requirement before sales tax for the e-Coupon to be applies. A GreenBacks e-Coupon is non-transferable.

GreenBacks e-Coupons valid for in-store purchases only. GreenBacks e-Coupon cannot be used online or by third-party shoppers, including but not limited to Instacart. A GreenBacks e-Coupon must be used in one visit and excludes sales tax, gift cards, bags, or products prohibited by law. Eligible item total, after any applicable discounts and before taxes, must be greater than or equal to GreenBacks e-Coupon amount. No cash back. Void if reproduced or transferred.

Points are not legal tender and have no cash value.

Rainbow Grocery reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time without notice to you. The date of the most recent version of these Terms is noted at the top. Any modification will be effective upon posting of the updated Terms, and your access to and/or use of any of the Sites thereafter will constitute your acceptance of such modified Terms. Please note the date these Terms were last modified and review these Terms on a regular basis.
